“Attractiveness to God in Daily Life”

In the scriptures God makes known the divine desire for deepening intimacy with each one of us, and so God is ever seeking to catch our attention and enjoy with us moments of connection through creation, people, events, prayer, Word and sacrament – and indeed through all things.

Drawing heavily on scripture and the insights of saints like Ignatius of Loyola and John of the Cross, as well as more recent holy men and women like Thomas Merton and Evelyn Underhill.  Jim will talk about how we might sharpen our awareness of the approaches of God in our day-to-day lives. How do we develop such a contemplative stance, such an openness to Divine Love?

Retreat begins on Sunday with check-in at 5 pm and dinner at 6 pm . Retreat concludes on Friday at 11 am. Offering: $575, Commuter $325

In 2009 he received the Le Moyne award for “Outstanding Part-time Teacher of the Year.” He also serves as an instructor of first year Jesuit novices at St. Andrew Hall novitiate in Syracuse.
